Stallions

Our newest edition of stallions is Carnane Taylor. We purchased him from Ireland as a foal in 2022, where he was Reserve Foal Champion.
He was in March 2025 granted a breeding license, and will be attending his final (hopefully) inspection in August 2025. He has a fantastic pedigree for show, jumping and eventing; sire is the Multiple supreme champion in Sweden, France & Ireland Bunowen Paddy, now also with progeny in Australia!

Grand sire is the legend Silver Shadow, that has progeny competing at the European Championships in jumping and eventing most years, and winning in hand shows in multiple countries. This bloodline has never before been offered to the Danish breeders, so we are happy to be able to offer natural coverings by Taylor, and we have high expectations for him. Other stallions, that has had a profound impact on our breeding program:

Sternbergs Larry Jr: It's always a gamble when you buy a foal or yearling, but we trusted our instincts and experience, and in 2007 we bought the yearling Sternbergs Larry Junior and the foal Sternbergs Marvin. They grew up to make the licensed stallions we hoped for, and lived with us for 14 years before we needed a stallion with new bloodlines. Larry Jr competed in FEI level in dressage and has in training done some jumping, up to 115 cm lanes and cross country. He has offspring in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany, and England. Among them are a 3 x European Championship in dressage participant, twice finalist, and an International jumping pony. Larry has improved all the mares he has covered, and some even better than himself. He has added movements and a great personality. 
Larry jr is now living with his breeder in Germany the Sternberg Stud. He has a licensed son in Denmark: Langtoftegård Limelight, and a licensed grand son in Germany: Langtoftegård Marco.  Check his facebookprofile for more info, pictures etc.

                                                           
Sternbergs Marvin has competed up to 110 cm jumping and FEI level in dressage. He was sold to Finland, and was in 2022 the most winning Connemarapony in Finland. He has offspring in Denmark, Norway and Finland. He has a licensed son in Germany: Langtoftegård Marco.

Milton moved in with us when he was 2 years old. He was licensed in class 1 and today he has a fantastic daughter in our breeding program, and several others spread all over Denmark, to keep this fabulous bloodline going. He was sold to USA in 2022. His sire Cashelbay Prince is still going strong in Ireland, where he is a member of Hall of Fame and has jumped 170 cm in puissance. His grand sire I Love You Melody is a legend in grade A showjumping, in hand classes and in breeding programmes all over Europe. Miltons dam is the fabulous Frederiksminde Mathilda by Hazy Dawn and Frederiksminde Movie Star.

Miltons full brother was Supreme Champion Clifden in Ireland, and a half sister gold winner at the European Championships in jumping. There is still a colt by Milton in Denmark, so hopefully he will have a licensed son in DK in a couple of years.
